How TikTok LIVE creators get paid in France

French creators broadcast on the France server, faction 115414, which Black Ads Agency operates as a Senior TikTok LIVE Partner. The mechanics below are the same everywhere; the numbers in the second half are specific to markets where TikTok publishes them, and France is one.

The chain, end to end

Gift to diamond. A viewer buys coins, spends them on a gift, and TikTok converts it into diamonds on your ledger, at a planning rate of roughly USD 0.005 per diamond to the creator — the figure behind /tools/live-income-calculator. TikTok's own conversion settles at payout.

Diamond to cycle. Diamonds accrue across a monthly cycle built from valid LIVE days: 60 minutes makes a session count toward a valid day, and 22 valid days a month is the working target most managed creators are held to.

Where the agency sits. Black Ads Agency takes 0% commission on diamonds: under the Senior Partner contract TikTok pays the agency directly for its management role, so nothing is deducted from what reaches a French creator.

The two rails, and where they cross

For the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, TikTok publishes a 1 USD minimum for PayPal. Bank transfer is confirmed for the United Kingdom, Germany, France and Sweden, with a 9 USD minimum in the UK and Germany and a 5 USD minimum in France and Sweden. The transaction fee is 1.5% plus 0.10 USD for PayPal and a flat 2.90 USD for bank transfer, deducted before the money reaches the external account.

Because one fee is proportional and the other is fixed, they cross. Setting 1.5% of an amount plus 0.10 equal to 2.90 gives roughly 187 USD: below that, PayPal costs less; above it, the flat bank fee does, and the gap widens as the amount grows. A creator withdrawing 100 USD pays about 1.60 through PayPal and 2.90 through the bank; a creator withdrawing 800 USD pays about 12.10 through PayPal and still 2.90 through the bank. Neither is universally right — the size and rhythm of your withdrawals decide it.

Two practical consequences

Beginners and high earners want different rails. A first payout of 40 USD sits far below the crossover, and the 5 USD bank minimum may not even be the binding issue; a room clearing several hundred a month is on the other side of it. Reviewing the choice once, when your monthly total changes bracket, is worth more than agonising over it at the start.

TikTok also notes that your real daily withdrawal limit can depend on the payment method, and the daily limit itself is a ladder recalculated monthly from the previous month's rewards — from 250 USD a day up to 50,000.
