Sector reports

The state of Gulf business websites, measured — not opined

Eight public reports built from our own scans of clinic and real-estate websites in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Jeddah — public listings plus, for UAE clinics, the official licence registries: 20 technical criteria per website, a named top-20 of observable facts, the rest anonymised. Data collected October 2026 — all eight 2026 editions are published below.

Quick answer

We collected 3,523 establishments from public listings across four Gulf cities, extended the UAE clinic lists with 2,116 licensed clinics from the official registries, and scanned 3,071 websites against 20 published criteria. Sector averages run from 61/100 (Dubai clinics, full licensed base) to 73/100 (Riyadh clinics). Each report gives the sector's real numbers — speed, Arabic support, booking, tracking — a top-20 ranked on observable technical facts only, and what the averages mean for your own site.

What the rankings are — and are not

The named top-20 in each report ranks websites, not businesses: publicly observable technical facts such as speed, HTTPS, Arabic support, booking paths and measurement tooling. We make no judgement about anyone's services, prices or quality of care, and any listed business can request a free re-scan or removal.

Everything else is anonymised into sector statistics. Where a measurement could not be taken, the report says so — numbers are measured or absent, never invented. The scoring weights and scanning rules are public on the methodology page.
