The 18 tiers, from bronze to gold

The League splits into four divisions, each with sub-tiers:

• Division D (bronze) — D5, D4, D3, D2, D1.
• Division C (copper) — C5, C4, C3, C2, C1.
• Division B (silver) — B5, B4, B3, B2, B1.
• Division A (gold) — A3, A2, A1.

Numbering goes from lowest to highest inside each division. D5 is the entry point, A1 is the summit. Eighteen tiers total to climb.

Your starting League is not random. It is determined by Diamonds received in the last 30 days. The more volume you already have, the higher you enter. The rule prevents sandbagging — an experienced creator cannot drop into D5 to win easily.

How fragments are earned and lost

League results refresh every 24 hours. Each day, you are compared against every creator in your own League on Diamonds received that day. Based on your position, you gain or lose fragments.

The scoring table varies by division — A and B reward more but punish less, C and D the opposite.

Fragment table by division

Division A (A1, A2, A3):

• Top 1%: +3 fragments.
• Top 1-10%: +2 fragments.
• Top 10-20%: +1 fragment.
• Bottom 40%: −1 fragment.

Division B (B1 to B5):

• Top 1%: +3 fragments.
• Top 1-10%: +2 fragments.
• Top 10-20%: +1 fragment.
• Bottom 30%: −1 fragment.

Division C (C1 to C5):

• Top 10%: +2 fragments.
• Top 10-20%: +1 fragment.
• Bottom 20%: −1 fragment.

Division D (D1 to D5):

• Top 10%: +2 fragments.
• Top 10-20%: +1 fragment.
• Bottom 20% (D1 only): −1 fragment.

Worth remembering: in Division D, you cannot lose fragments unless you are at D1. Intentional — TikTok does not want new creators dropping into a zone that does not exist.

How to move up a tier

Four fragments take you to the next tier:

• D5 to D4, D4 to D3, and so on.
• D1 to C5 (division crossing).
• C1 to B5, B1 to A3, A3 to A2, A2 to A1.

Conversely, losing four fragments takes you back down:

• D4 to D5, C5 to D1, etc.

Fragments accumulate or deduct across days. You can aim for promotion across four consecutive Top 10% days — or eight Top 20% days.

The League Shield: your demotion safety net

The League Shield is an automatic mechanism designed to stop you from losing fragments on a bad day. When you reach a higher League, you have a chance to receive a Shield as a gift.

Shield rules

• Earning a Shield is free.
• Shields do not expire if unused.
• You can hold up to 10 League Shields at a time.
• A Shield triggers automatically when you are about to lose a fragment.

This mechanic shifts the strategy radically. Without Shields, a single bad day costs you a fragment to recover. With a Shield stockpile, you can ride through a complicated period (travel, illness, grief) without demoting.

The group-LIVE exception

Important: points captured from Gifts received during the guest segment of a LIVE — i.e. when you are not the main host of a group LIVE — do not count toward your League ranking position.

Concretely, if you guest on a group LIVE with another creator and their viewers gift you Diamonds, those Diamonds do not enter your daily League score. The rule blocks piggyback — climbing the League off the back of group LIVEs with a bigger creator.

League rewards

Rewards are visual elements that signal your position to other viewers and creators:

1. The League badge

A badge appears in your League details. It is shown both to viewers in your LIVEs and to other creators with whom you might run a LIVE match.

2. The tier tag

A tag displays your exact tier (e.g. « B5 » or « A2 ») with a division-specific visual: bronze for D, copper for C, silver for B, gold for A.

3. The promotion announcement

When you reach a higher League, an announcement appears at the top of your LIVE telling your viewers in real time. Strong editorial moment — most senior creators prep it like a celebration.

Opt-out and consequences

You can opt out of the League (and every ranking) at any time, via the usual two methods:

• Before the LIVE: from the « Go LIVE » screen, tap Settings > Rankings.
• During a LIVE: tap More (•••) > Settings > Rankings.

What happens once opted out:

• You no longer appear on any LIVE ranking, including the Creator League.
• Your League badges are no longer shown on your LIVEs.
• You can no longer see your own badges or other creators' badges during LIVE matches.

Caveat: your badges stay visible to your opponent and to viewers during LIVE matches even if you cannot see them. Important nuance — opting out removes your personal pressure, not the public display.

League eligibility

Every creator who receives Diamonds during a LIVE in compliance with TikTok terms and policies is eligible. No minimum Diamond threshold, no minimum audience.

The same ineligibility rules as the other two rankings apply. LIVEs in any of these categories drop out of the League automatically:

• « Pay to support » promotion on sensitive topics.
• LIVE during an ongoing tragedy or with a false-victim posture.
• Engagement manipulation (« follow for follow », etc.).
• Aggressive Gift solicitation.
• Violations of TikTok Community Guidelines.

Group-LIVE caps are identical: no more than twice in 30 days, no more than once in your last ten LIVEs.

The League is the most strategic ranking long-term because it mirrors your overall progression, not your spikes. Three principles the agency applies for its senior creators:

First principle — preserve your Shields

Many creators trigger their Shields on the first hard day. Bad strategy. Shields are free and non-perishable — reserve them for windows where you push for promotion. Typical case: you are at 3 fragments out of 4 to move from A3 to A2, but a travel period will cut you off for 4 days. That is when your Shields decide between promotion and demotion.

Second principle — play consistency

A Top 10-20% every day (+1 fragment) is mathematically superior to a sporadic Top 1% (+3 fragments) followed by five days at the bottom (−5 fragments). The League rewards the creator who delivers a solid LIVE every day, not the one who explodes one night a month.

Third principle — anticipate the windows

Fragments accumulate fast when you concentrate. Four consecutive Top 10% days in Division C = +8 fragments, i.e. two tier promotions in a single week. When you spot a favourable window (weakened competition, seasonal event, diaspora support), push hard for 4-7 days instead of spreading over a month.
