Three rankings, three logics

Every time you go LIVE on TikTok, up to three ranking badges can appear at the top of your screen. Each one places you in a different competition with its own rules, refresh cadence, and rewards. Understanding this map before you go LIVE is what separates a creator who guesses from one who knows exactly which lever to pull.

These rankings are active by default for every LIVE creator who receives Gifts. You can opt out at any time from the LIVE settings — but most creators benefit from staying in, because the rewards are free visibility levers.

Overview: the 3 rankings at a glance

The table below sums up the three rankings. Note the second column: on the MENA server, the first ranking resets every hour. On European servers (FR+, IT+, DE+), it is called daily or weekly and the window is longer — the mechanic is identical, only the duration changes.

• What it measures: Diamonds received during the current window.
• Reset: every hour (MENA), every day or week (Europe).
• Main lever: concentrate Gifts inside a short time window.
• Top 3 rewards: LIVE announcement, special effect on the profile frame, gold (nº 1), silver (nº 2), bronze (nº 3) frames.

• What it measures: team points generated by Creator Team members.
• Reset: every 24 hours.
• Main lever: activate your community to complete daily missions (Heart for you, comments, Gifts, Popular Vote).
• Top 20 rewards: going-LIVE announcement, name frame, portal to your LIVE that appears in other LIVE rooms and pulls fresh traffic.

💎 Creator League

• What it measures: Diamonds received over the last 24 hours, compared to creators in your own League tier.
• Reset: every 24 hours, fragments accumulate over time.
• Main lever: consistency day after day, not single explosive sessions.
• Rewards: visible badge, League tag (D5 → A1, 18 tiers), Shields that protect against demotion.

Which ranking for which goal?

The Hourly ranking is the fastest window to exploit — a creator can grab a gold frame in a single well-prepared hour. Best when you need an immediate visibility boost.

The Popular LIVE ranking rewards the depth of your community, not the size of your audience. A creator with fifty highly active fans can outperform one with five hundred passive viewers. The right lever if you are building a real tribe around you.

The League rewards consistency across weeks. It is the most strategic system long-term — you do not climb by exploding once, you climb by staying in the top 10-20% of your tier day after day. The right lever for building a durable position.

Eligibility rules shared by all three rankings

TikTok applies the same ineligibility filters to all three rankings. You drop out of the race if your LIVE falls into any of these categories: aggressive Gift solicitation, promoting « pay to support » on sensitive topics, LIVE during an ongoing tragedy, engagement manipulation (« follow for follow »), violation of Community Guidelines.

Group LIVEs (three or more creators with an organizer, structured format) have their own rule: no more than twice in thirty days, no more than once in your last ten LIVEs. Beyond that, you stop being counted in the rankings.
